Other Resources
The Bridgeway
The Bridgeway has a helpful FAQ section encompassing forensic medical examinations, reporting sexual assault to the police, HIV infections, and they include transgender, transitioning, intersex, and non-binary people.
Victim Rights Law Centre
In 2017, Victim Rights Law Centre released a guide for advocates and lawyers working with LGBTQ+ sexual assault survivors. It contains some statistics pertaining to bisexual men and women, as well as gay men, in the introduction. Although this is more relevant to the U.S., it still gives you an idea of the type of questions you may be asked by if you chose to take legal action.
All Survivors Project
In April 2020, All Survivors Project (ASP) published a very well-researched, well-referenced report looking at the health of male and LGBT survivors of conflict-related sexual violence in partnership with The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. ASP is an independent, impartial, international organisation conducting research to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue about how to improve global responses for every survivor of sexual violence including men in situations of armed conflict and forced displacement.
